Who's That Kid, is an entertainment company owned, and operated by the Castro Family. WTK encompasses television and film projects, acting consultant, and record producing. With personal contacts, and eighteen years of experience. The Castro's decided to put together a company that will enable both actors and music artists to nurture and fulfill their dreams, without compromising who they are. We are all family here.
Their affiliations with talent agents, writers, producers, photographers, web designers, and PR people, along with their utilization of strong industry knowledge, as well as strategic planning accompanied with the execution of innovative ideas has been their formula for success.
With a breakout role at age 7 for Raquel Castro in Kevin Smith's "Jersey Girl", to becoming a finalist on NBC's Emmy winning show "The Voice" (Christina Aguilera's team), and two Best Supporting nomination for David Castro at age nine co-starring with John Leguizamo in "Where God Left His Shoes" followed by a lead role in Katherine Heigl's "27 Dresses" and several television pilots, a recurring role on “TBS” Are We There Yet”. These are just some of the accomplishments for The Castro’s.
More recently,Raquel has graced the Fox Empire Tv show with a recurring role as Marisol in Cookie & Hakim’s latin girl group Mirage a Trois, brought the well loved character South Salamanca alive in Disney’s Liv & Maddie, released a #1Billboard dance single and plays Martina in Blue Bloods.
WTK encouraged Raquel’s creative talents, helping her to become quite the singer/songwriter. She’s written a song “Save Me” for her brother David, who is on his 3rd season of Freeform’s Shadowhunters, that will be released as his first single in 2018 on the Castro’s Independent record label Break A Record, 2018.
Like Raquel, David also graced Blue Bloods with his character Louis, has a movie release Ruta Madre in 2018 in which he plays Daniel, a rock and roll singer on a mission, and will be playing Frankie in the upcoming musical, “Lovin Brooklyn.”
The Castro's have their sites set on creating, and producing projects for film and TV, including the upcoming Madonna documentary, and the all female Biker “#2WheelzNHeelz show on the new network “Indistry TV”, along with several other Film/TV with their newly developed film production company “Got 2B Reel.
